Last year, Montao’s introduction to the music-sphere was simply triumphant.
With lead singles ‘What in the World?’ ft. Slug of Atmosphere, Koncept, and Lane Shuler, plus the Halloween House series ft. Copywrite and RoQy TyRaiD, landing a plethora of support including Xposure on Radio X, Chuck D’s show on Rapstation, plus an exclusive interview via Fresh on the Net.
Montao has now returned with new offering ‘2223’ painting the picture of a post apocalyptic dystopian vivid landscape.
He also couldn’t come empty handed, and so the track also includes a verse from Wu Tang Clan’s very own Masta Killa.
The new single is a combination of Hiphop, EDM, and everything else in between. With experimental cinematic production, building up to an incredible verse from Masta Killa, combined with Montao’s UK influenced unconventional sounds.
Montao said:
“This track was set out to be instrumental, but as the journey continues and develops so does the music….
I’ve always been a massive fan of Masta Killa, the most underrated member of Wu Tang Clan without a doubt. His vocals and signature style combined with the overall vision of '2223' has made it simply epic. Enjoy!"
